Information we collect

• Your email address and securely protected login credentials.
• Your chosen display name.
• The version of the Terms you accepted and the acceptance date and time.
• Technical session information needed to keep you signed in securely.
• Your theme, recent-search, and encouragement preferences, which are stored with your member account so they can follow you across devices.
• Prayers, search words, Scripture references, personal notes, and answered-prayer status that you choose to save in your journal.

How we use information

We use this information to create and protect your account, confirm membership, provide your private prayer journal, personalize the service, maintain security, keep required agreement records, troubleshoot problems, and comply with applicable law.

Authentication and storage

Supabase provides account authentication and database services for Everyday Faith. Passwords are handled by Supabase’s authentication service and are not visible to or stored directly in the Everyday Faith website code. Account and journal records are protected by access rules designed so members can access only their own information.

Prayer searches and sharing

Your prayer-search words are processed on your device. For signed-in members, a short recent-search history may be saved to the member account to support the personal dashboard and cross-device continuity. When you choose Save to journal, the displayed prayer, its related Scripture, your search words, and any notes you later add are stored with your account. If you choose Instagram, Facebook, or another sharing option, your device and the selected platform handle that sharing under their own privacy practices.

Cookies and local storage

Everyday Faith uses browser storage for your current color theme, recent searches, encouragement choices, and temporary continuity while you use the site. When you sign in, supported preferences are also connected to your account. Supabase uses browser storage and related session technology to keep you signed in and protect your account.

When information may be shared

Information may be processed by service providers that operate Everyday Faith, disclosed when legally required, or used to investigate fraud, abuse, or security threats. We do not state that member information is sold.

Retention and choices

Account and agreement records are retained while needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. Journal entries remain available until you delete them or the associated account is deleted. You can edit or delete individual journal entries, sign out, or permanently delete your member account and private member data from Account & privacy. Some records may be retained only when required by applicable law or necessary security obligations.

Children

Everyday Faith membership is not directed to children under 13, or under the minimum digital-consent age required in their country. We do not knowingly create accounts for children below that age.

Security and changes

Reasonable safeguards are used, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. This notice may be updated as the service changes. A revised effective date will identify updates.
